I have been photographing horses, from private ridden lessons to BE one day events, for over 5 years now. I specialise in competition photography, primarily focussing on a singular client over the course of a competition weekend, but also cater to private sessions.
As a rider myself, I understand the pride felt when you see someone has captured a wonderful, synchronised moment between you and your horse. I want to provide this and make photography shoots as accessible as possible, as I believe we all deserve beautiful shots to serve as lifelong memories of us and our 4-legged friends.
From grass-roots
beginnings.
Years ago, I began taking photos on an old Fuji film SLR camera. Despite the limited zoom options, poor megapixels and a fixed lens, I still formed what would be the photography bug in the early 2000s. Starting with pictures of my own pets and backyard flowers, I soon began taking photos at my local riding stables, each Saturday bringing joy to fellow Pony Clubbers as we would all photograph ourselves and our favourites horses.
Creating powerful memories.
This growth from a simple part-time hobby grew into study, where I focussed on GCE A-level photography, gaining an A*. I then continued onto eventing photography thanks to a dear friend, who competed often, and gracefully allowed me to become her dual photographer and groom. This love for horse photography has formed from over a decade of experience, and I now specialise in capturing lifelong moments through a lens for your enjoyment.

Reach out - communication is everything! The first stage to creating a wonderful photo album is getting in touch with me to formulate a plan over what you'd like, what you envision. I am here to help you explore your imagination.

02. Conceptualise
From here, we discuss practicalities. If it's a private lesson, would you like bonding yard shots included or abstract mirror shots? If it's a beach shoot, would you love to don a billowing gown that will blow in the wind? The fun begins here!

And then the hard stuff is over - the shoot and editing can begin! With a turnaround of 5 working days (and usually far quicker than this) I aim to have all edited photos available for a HD album download ASAP, with framed prints not long after.
